Lalu mulai terlintas mengenai keadaan sekarang, dimana generasi muda yang nasionalismenya semakin berkurang. Mungkin karena kita terlalu manja sekarang ini, dimanjakan oleh fasilitas, dimanjakan oleh hiburan, dimanjakan oleh gengsi, padahal semua itu kan adalah berupa hutang yang harus kita bayar ke luar. Ternyata kenyamanan tidak selalu berimbas positif. Terbayang juga bagaimana para pendahulu kita begitu bangganya dengan Bangsa Indonesia, walaupun kita dalam kemelaratan. Apa mungkin karena akhir2 ini kita tidak pernah mempunyai konflik yang besar dengan negara lain? saya ingat, bagaimana nasionalisme mulai tergugah ketika kita punya konflik dengan malaysia tentang kepulauan ambalat, tapi kini dingin lagi. Saya pernah mendengar slogan bahwa kita akan merasa satu apabila kita punya musuh yang sama, tapi apabila itu tidak ada. Maka kita akan mulai saling meny...
