Mungkin karena kita terlalu manja sekarang ini, dimanjakan oleh fasilitas, dimanjakan oleh hiburan, dimanjakan oleh gengsi, padahal semua itu kan adalah berupa hutang yang harus kita bayar ke luar. Ternyata kenyamanan tidak selalu berimbas positif. Terbayang juga bagaimana para pendahulu kita begitu bangganya dengan Bangsa Indonesia, walaupun kita dalam kemelaratan. Apa mungkin karena akhir2 ini kita tidak pernah mempunyai konflik yang besar dengan negara lain? saya ingat, bagaimana nasionalisme mulai tergugah ketika kita punya konflik dengan malaysia tentang kepulauan ambalat, tapi kini dingin lagi.
